Hmmm. Let me rephrase that.

How do they come up with this stuff?

 

The film transfer method was mostly used to give replica wood grain to fiberglas or graphite reinforced plastic gun stocks.  You can still buy them, "camoflage"  or "woodlands" for turkey rifles and shotguns is very popular.

I wonder how durable it is 

The dude is smooth, That's for sure. I would think if they are putting it on wheels it would be pretty durable.

I wonder how those wheels would hold up to tire mounting.  Have to have a pretty tough finish on a wheel.

 

 

Clear coat, you can powder coat clear over it as well
