mojojojo78
I'm slowly working on this Super Bugger. I got some doors made and a little bit of the interior. Just filling some gaps so I can put a primer coat on to see how it looks. 6 1 Quote Link to comment
mainer311
There's a dude who works at my local hobby shop who scratch-builds. He's currently replicating the Datsun 620 "Dat Sun King Delivery" from Puddin's Fab Shop. He sat there and chopped like 300 rivet heads for the Uhaul rear box. Crazy. 3 Quote Link to comment

Chuck Most
Tires were sheer luck. I bought the one can of Testors Dullcote that was actually dull. For the last six years or so if you buy a can of Dullcote it's more likely to be semi gloss. Unfortunately it's about the only dull clearcoat that works on vinyl tires. 4 Quote Link to comment

mainer311
Here’s that scratch built 620. It’s not just the UHaul box that he built, he made hand carved blobs of bondo into vacuum forming dies and made door skins out of sheet styrene, seat rails, inner fender detail, etc. Anyone who has ever built the MPC 620 knows how crappy it is. He fixed all of it. Edited June 28 by mainer311 9 Quote Link to comment
Chuck Most
I just got the new/old AMT '63 Ford F100 kit recently, so that's what I've been farting around with since I got out of work. 7 Quote Link to comment

I asked him about the graphics on the box, and he said he's going to reach out to the actual shop that made those for Puddin' to see if he can scale them down and print decals for it. 4 Quote Link to comment

mainer311
A friend of mine has a Plymouth Valiant with the old slant six in it. It's a cool car to cruise around in. Quote Link to comment
