Hull number 253b designed by John G. Alden and built by T. H. Soule. It's had many owners, makeovers, and tragedies. It now belongs to a good friend of mine and we are working hard to get it all back together. Before most of us were born- In the 80's And our story starts one year ago. hosestop@msn.com Posted July 22, 2013 Report Share Posted July 22, 2013 Hey Lurka that's a freakin wood boat , unreal the way it has a decent hull and so old ,salt water actually preserved the wood ,I also work on a few friends boats in Long Beach near where JCCS takes place ,super restoration keep up good work and not too much marine bondo .(west systems) Have a twelve foot laser/capri on a rack in harbor also. I cut my teeth working (and sailing) on a simiarly sized, homebuilt, gaff rigged ketch, so those pics brought back many fond memories. Good luck and fair winds.
