Beware of that guy.. he burned me for an engine and then said he "didn't have the money to make it right". Crook.

Looks like he lives about 30 miles away?  Why not respond to his CL ad and go look at the truck with a couple buddies & a box of tools, then start pulling out the SR when he pops the hood...

He's not even trying to sell it he just wants to see if people will catch the hook and buy it got they much he knows very well it's overpriced he didn't even built the truck a shop did the work.

I wouldn't take anything greater than the value if your engine sale... But I would make sure it was the most inconvenient parts.

 

Grab like the pistons and compressor wheel our of the SR... Maybe the driveshaft. You get the value of your deal back and the satisfaction his truck is inoperable.

 It's on ePay too just like the other one, same color, same year. The Michigan one is at $6,100 with reserve not met.

 

The Michigan one says "No Rust". Whether it's just surface rust, or pitted---it's still rust.  :sneaky:

The orange tags on the plates expired in 2013 (or '08,'03,'98)

Seems like too clean a car to get sold without title or bill of sale or...
