yeah, weird ad for sure. Stolen or maybe a scam that's using stolen photos?

The orange tags on the plates expired in 2013 (or '08,'03,'98)

Seems like too clean a car to get sold without title or bill of sale or...

I don't love the interior or wheels

Oics for posterity

"Only bad thing is I got this shipped from the mainland and didn't get the ownership papers. No papers."

Want's $11K/offer for it?

In Hawaii with California plates not covered for everyone to see? Stolen?

A very good bet... B)

Proxy bids at/above the reserve automatically jump the price up to the reserve...

Seriously!  I never knew that.  Guess I didn't know eBay as well as I thought.

Anyways that some money for a 521.  We are talking original 240z at that price

Full body kit convertible with Chevy 350. $2400

At that price, I wouldn't even expect it to run. (who knows, maybe fraud or something seriously wrong with it - NOT MINE)

popped up on an old automatic search

I hate almost everything that was done to that car.  I'm ok with wide bodys / box frares and alot of stuff but that clearly crossed the line of good taste,, very early in the construction phase .

Yeah but sold as 70.

The first 538 Regular Production DATSUN 240Z's produced were built in Oct., Nov. and Dec. of 1969. These were all HLS30 series (Left Hand Drive) cars, with the possible exception of HS30 00003. Because of the need for a redesigned crankshaft, production of the DATSUN 240-Z's was stopped in Dec. of 1969 with only 97 produced during that month.
