2050-Z
thats weird, I never had to drop the tank to remove my old bumper shocks. You must have. I doubt you could unbolt the thing without moving the tank, let alone get it out. Or you have a different year Z? This is a '77 280z. Quote Link to comment
Syncro
That explains it mine was a 75 I think, different tanks. Quote Link to comment
sedition88
saw a cool sign, had to snap a pic with the 270 in it. Good looking Z. That's not just a sign, it's a whole side of a building, nice 1 Quote Link to comment
JonU
saw a cool sign, had to snap a pic with the 270 in it. Love how just in front of the car it says "It's Light" :D Quote Link to comment
M240Z
Didn't mean to post here but heres a pic to make up for it . This was when she was maxed low. Now shes hibernating in my garage awaiting triples, real fender mirrors, and other goodies. 3 Quote Link to comment

Uber Deaf One
What size are those tires? Quote Link to comment
2050-Z
Yes they are cut. You should unbolt them. They'll be much easier to get out, since they're cut... removing the full thing requires lots of careful orientation. The driver's side is really easy. Passenger side requires unstrapping the gas tank, but not really unhooking any fuel system connections. Fairly simple still. Quote Link to comment
craprat260
^^^ i agree i used a jacked to lower the fuel tank only a little bit to fit my hand in there. you don't have to take thing completely out Quote Link to comment

that one guy
wait.... do you have rear hatch glass?.... Quote Link to comment
72240z
You should run the fuel line around the back of the engine. With no return and the line going over the valve cover your pre-heating your fuel. 1 Quote Link to comment
scrapsun
i do have rear hatch glass, and I will move the fuel line to a more "safe" spot. Quote Link to comment
72240z
Cool, I dont think its unsafe per se just detrimental to performance and reliability. Z looks good, keep on keepin on :-) Quote Link to comment
Mr.Dean_Yates
You should run the fuel line around the back of the engine. With no return and the line going over the valve cover your pre-heating your fuel. I had planned exactly that when I wanted to run dual dgvas Quote Link to comment
