Ghetto Jack
I figured I ought to make an intro thread. I'm not new to Datsuns at all, but I am new to the forums. I'm Jack, and I'm from Cleveland, OH. The land of rock salt, poured by the pound. I currently own a 1980 510 fastback, 1985 Corolla SR5, and a 2005 Mazdaspeed Miata. In the past I've owned a 1974 260Z, 1975 280Z, 1980 210 wagon, 1981 210 two-door sedan, and 1984 200SX. (Not to mention numerous non-Datsun JNC's). Here are some pics of my big, happy family. The Miata The 510 The Corolla is a rusted-out winter beater, I don't think anyone wants to see it. Anyways, I like it here. I think I'll stick around. 1 Quote Link to comment

Tristin
That A10 looks killer. Cant wait for documented build threads. Quote Link to comment
JoeCool
Nice rides, especially avoiding the cancer from all that road salting. I have seen some vehicles literally destroyed by that stuff. I dunno about worst place to own a Datsun though, that would be Commiefornia, the worst place to own any old car. They think they should all be destroyed or never touch the road. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
About all you can do to protect her from salt and idiots is to put her up for the winter and drive a POS. Quote Link to comment
Kisor
Yay Ohio.... I had to drive my B210 untill last week when I picked up a beater. Went through a couple good saltings down here though. :crying: Welcome to the Rat hole.... er Rust hole.... Quote Link to comment
Kirden
Still waiting on pics of the rolla... Love me some old school RWDs Quote Link to comment
Ghetto Jack
Pics of the Corolla to come once I transfer them from the phone to the PC. There's no build thread needed for the A10. I bought it from the original owner's granddaughter in Morgan Hill, CA in February 2012 and it runs flawlessly. It even passed CA smog last February, even with the eight-plug Z20. I've put 16k on it since then, and it's seen 20 states and two oceans since then. It's in winter storage now. Quote Link to comment

Ghetto Jack
I just wanna keep it clean and drive it. It gets 35 mpg, never breaks, and is fun to drive. I figure: why mess with perfection? Quote Link to comment
Ghetto Jack
Here's the Corolla you've been looking for. Will be for sale in a few months. Quote Link to comment
JoeCool
Oh No! Not the ricer sticker bomb crap.WTH? Quote Link to comment
Kirden
lol, I love it, just needs a new trunk... Let me know when it goes up for sale, I have been looking for an old rwd rolla for a while. Would prolly cost 5-600 for shipping (that was bout what it cost for a broke down civic from indiana). Ghetto Jack
I just did that since some fool spray-bombed the car...despite it being already black. D: the stickers may be able to be simply peeled off, although they're pretty cool, and not the typical stickers. Quote Link to comment
Jimmyray73
Heh, road salt around here was hell on my old 280. I tend to disagree about Cali being the worst place to own a Datsun, there are a lot more of them available there than here in Ohio. Quote Link to comment
