Thanks, it's still not done. I just wanted to enjoy it like this for a while. It'll be getting painted the metallic brown that is in the engine bay, and that crappy corrugated plastic intake tube will be gone soon. Also need to source some carpet and finish off the interior.

Very cool.. love to see the old school minis get there props in the magazines.. My 620 won Mini Truckin editors choice award from Sittin Prettin Summer Slam.. they like the old school trucks..

I would love to see that sucker in person.. it is for sure a cool. rig.. lots of style and some serious wrench time for sure.. Congrats on the feature!!!!

Nice truck,, love the style and touches. However, I can't stand hydraulics,, static all the way IMO. Otherwise, totally rad.

It was pretty easy, actually. Maybe I'll write up a how-to sometime, if there's interest. Basically laid out the checker and sprayed it with the red, let it dry, then sprayed black over top. After that was dry, it was wet sanded to the desired effect.

Saw your truck in minitruckin and loved it!!!! Great job!!! that is the next step in our build but for this upcoming season it will be static dropped only so we can actually get out and enjoy it. Thanks for some future motivation!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the like on my post too!!!!!

i almost got that mag when i saw it but decided i was too broke, need to bag and body mine after looking at yours.. good job cool to see datsuns respected by all the mags :)
