Steered hearing an exhaust leak recently. The culprit.

Changed it out and much better. But it still leaks slightly. Annoying, but at least it's much quieter.

Is that the gasket that comes with the metal rings around the inner exhaust pipe? I had to remove the rings on mine in order for it to have clearance, and that caused it to leak after about 1k miles later.

Findings: the 195/50R15's clear the rear no problem. Up front they rub the fender some. But do-able.

Took a trip to Eugene this last weekend and noticed a rattling sound in mid 2000 rpm. Turned out it was my velocity stack. The new air cleaner assembly made enough of a gap leaving the stacks loose. My solution,

Zip tie pieces on the clamps.

I've had no filter since the engine was rebuilt. But I figured since I DD this bad girl I probably want to avoid anything bad getting in there to fuck shit up. I'll take it off For track days and autocross. I didn't even consider bolt on stacks. Thx.

If you live in the desert maybe! I ran without a filter on my E7 Corolla for like 4 months and it was still spotless

How are your cylinder walls and valve seats looking?

Get a go pro put it aiming at carb, drive for a day around town & freeways and get back to us
