Ran all new brake lines. Intalled new wilwood 1" master and wilwood preportioning valve.

Yes. New shocks. They are xterra front shocks. Fit perfectly no mods needed. Also have 2" belltech drop spindles for more travel. Beebani upper arms. Hardbody lower arm/hub/rotors/calipers. Brand new moog balljoints.

 

Currently have a massive toe out problem. And unsure on what to do for the TC rods...

well looks like u just need to run it lower.... track width grew substantially..... and u have always ran shocks ... why so many pics of clearance cutting lol .......hopefully the worst issue with tow out is shortening and rethreading the centerlink ... but not sure what to do about the fender clearance ... your old ride height will ruin those fenders....

 

 

how come no pic of me breaking the bolt off in the ball joint lol .....the good news is there's not to many tight turns on the way to canby ...

Using stock lowers with ball joints pushes the track width out 1.25" per side......2.5" total.  When I did this mod originally for Bre620, he wanted the extra width because he was running Z71 rims, which have a front wheel drive type offset.  

 

Are the Xterra shocks shorter than the HB?

according to monroes web page. yes.  HB is 8.875 and xterra 8.250 and 521 8.375  that's their listings not sure on other manufactures.

 

those xterra wheels are +40

 

 

matt-- Ive always had shocks in.  just blown out...

fixed the toe, added some camber, shaved the fender lip and rolled it... drove the shitbag home last night, 30mile test drive...  weird having suspension in the front again, still bang the hell out of the rear.  pulls to the right.  need to get alignment. nice to drive it again.  feels good its back in my garage.

Update: Fixed the picture links on page 7 post #126 (heater work)

 

cleaned the garage and organized my tool box and while doing so, made this since the emblem was already broken...

Saturday I started on my truck. removed bed. the 10 bolts were a fucking bitch and a half to remove.  impact gun would of been nice...

cut out the rear shock mount crossbar. then drilled new holes and slid new pipe in and welded.

started on the "C" notch. and hit a snag. (dull hole saw) hopefully finish today.  needs to be ready for the Rod Run to the End of the World.  leaving thursday...2days away.
