]2eDeYe
Walker Valley, the snow really made it awesomer. :D Quote Link to comment
Farmer Joe
so what broke in the rearend? drive it home on FWD? lol Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Yep drove it home in front wheel drive lol. Not sure what broke yet, but I am hoping it was a shaft. It popped when it broke and no gravel sounds coming from the diff so I am hopeful. I have spare shafts but no spare diff. Either way though it's time to start prepping the replacement. 1 Quote Link to comment
Farmer Joe
well lets hope its just a axle.. whats going in it later tho? Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Haven't decided, Toyota 4x4 rear or a Dana 60 I have laying around. Quote Link to comment
q-tip
I have a couple scout 44s sitting around if you don't want to go full size Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
I have a couple scout 44s sitting around if you don't want to go full size 5 lug? Easier to convert the 60 I think  Fuck the meet I wanna be there!!!! Will my truck make it ???? That look rad !!!! Well all but the face book selfie ...... That bronco your playing with would have a good time, but I don't think your truck would make it past the gatekeeper. :D 1 Quote Link to comment
jrock4224
if i get a run at it .... i bet i can get it .... bronco will be a street wheeler like that 71 blazer i have.(there being built for woman..),...... i want a purpose built, ooops dont care, let s go wheeling truck ... thats why possum jump 2014 and deer head banging 2013 aren't bothering me since i can justifiably think about toyota axles and tree marks .. i think i want a little more comfort on the trail ... always a big xj fan... ted got a gm swb .....70s era but im afraid of teds prices...and dont really like wheeling fullsizers gta mug shot for me .... underground mafia for life 2 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
5 lug? Easier to convert the 60 I think  yeah 5 lug, I have a matching front and rear set too if you want to go full convert. Quote Link to comment
jrock4224
and lose those wheels ... i think not Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
...But I could run my vectors. Think I want more beef though, leaning towards the 60 and I own it already. Quote Link to comment
Jester
I would say a 60 is in order. You now know that a 44 is not going to hold up to what you are doing. Looks like some nice wheeling areas there. The first few shots looked like a trail at Tillamook. Quote Link to comment
Farmer Joe
but the 60 is gonna be 8 lug... or was that the idea all along to put 8lug an all 4 corners? is the wago frontent easy to convert to 8? "All new from datsun, the 1978 620 2500 pickup. Now with 4wd and fuel efficient Sequential Fuel Injection." 1 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Going to convert the 60 to 6 lug...at least that's the plan. Need to pick it up and pull the hubs and see what can be done, I know it's possible as I have seen it done. Quote Link to comment
Jester
To bad you don't have 5 lug. They came with a 5 lug version on some of the J20 trucks. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Oh, I have 5 lug stuff. :) I also have an 8 lug set for the dana 44 I'm running, so going 8lug is an option as well. But like Jrock said, then I couldn't run the current bitchin wheels :D Quote Link to comment
Jester
So how about some quality axles in your current housing? That would be a lot less work and you could keep your wheels. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
In the H190? Yep, broke the stock Datsun shaft, Held up a little longer than I though it would, but not by much :) Quote Link to comment
Jester
Sorry, I was thinking you had 44's at both ends. Quote Link to comment
