Yep drove it home in front wheel drive lol. 

Not sure what broke yet, but I am hoping it was a shaft. It popped when it broke and no gravel sounds coming from the diff so I am hopeful. I have spare shafts but no spare diff. Either way though it's time to start prepping the replacement.

if i get a run at it .... i bet i can get it .... bronco will be a street wheeler like that 71 blazer i have.(there being built for woman..),...... i want a purpose built,  ooops dont care, let s go wheeling truck ... thats why possum jump 2014 and deer head banging 2013 aren't bothering me since i can justifiably think about toyota axles and tree marks .. i think i want a little more comfort on the trail ... always a big xj fan... ted got a gm swb .....70s era but im afraid of teds prices...and dont really like wheeling fullsizers

I would say a 60 is in order. You now know that a 44 is not going to hold up to what you are doing. 

Looks like some nice wheeling areas there. The first few shots looked like a trail at Tillamook.

Going to convert the 60 to 6 lug...at least that's the plan. Need to pick it up and pull the hubs and see what can be done, I know it's possible as I have seen it done.

To bad you don't have 5 lug. They came with a 5 lug version on some of the J20 trucks.

I also have an 8 lug set for the dana 44 I'm running, so going 8lug is an option as well. But like Jrock said, then I couldn't run the current bitchin wheels :D

Yep, broke the stock Datsun shaft, Held up a little longer than I though it would, but not by much :)
