q-tip
So you're using it to weld a shock mount too or are you bolting it to the unistrut rail. 1 Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
something like this Quote Link to comment
Draker
To absorb shock from the airplane propeller. 5 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Bi planes are a bitbofban outbdated design. So you're going to use it for multiple shock mounting locations. Makes sense but why do you need lateral movement in the top mount? Quote Link to comment
fritzdixxon
Options to dial it all in? I like the simplicity of the single piece, lining every thing up will stay consistent from one side to the other. Are you going with a four link? Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
It already has a four link that was air bagged, It ate the bushings up when driven low, it had more of a drag style cross bar, I'm going to be figuring out a pan hard, and yes a few different upper mounting points to make sure I can get the best/ smooth est movement, 2 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
So what made you bail on the air bags? You only ran them for a little while, correct? Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
I would need to re do everything to be happy with it.... So I figured since I need to pretty much redo it just for it to be safe, I would re-do it mor how I want it with more reliable, and less cost, but I sourced a rx7 rear end that in am going to shorten one day and do a triangular set up or adapt the watts link and stick with coilovers, but bags are not practical for me right now, and I just need it to not kill me right now if I drive it and figure all that out later 1 Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
And because I need it to be on a tow dolly and be safe in the near future Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Not dying seems like a decent reason. Glad to see your build back up and progressing. Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
Did you find the oil loss source, was it those rings? 1 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
My niece wrecked my m30 years ago. I kept the brake setup and still have it. Yet regardless of how ridiculous this is, I'm irritated that I didn't keep the struts. I didn't even own a 510 at the time, but dammit I had those struts! 1 Quote Link to comment
Ratwagon1600
Thanks mate. Dont suppose I could push my luck and ask if you have a part No for the calipers? Quote Link to comment
