hertzcarsales
I know you can use a short-tail 5spd from a Z20S-powered 510 (80-82). Looks kinda like this: But if you're going to beat on it hard, I'd stick with the KA trans. ;) ok dear thanks for share the information.... Quote Link to comment

80datson
i'm noob on rear ends what are h190 on. Then change that and do some research.. 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I've seen a disc brake H190 from a late S110, but never one with drums. Late HL-A10? Yes, I'll do some more research... :P Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Perhaps an S12 unit. 1984 with CA20E came with 4-link and drum brakes. Early S110 200SX used disc brake H165, later used disc brake H190. H-A10 used the H165 with drum brakes. H-A10 = L20B/Z20 Quote Link to comment
80datson
No. This is the late model breed. March/84. For some odd reason only this year came with the drum brakes I did some research. So yah :)... the 83s came with the 90 n disk. So idk datsun got lazy with the 84. Then they went to IRS.. 80datson
Heres a pic of the car I took it off.. I'm in the process of taking the 65 disk setup and put them on the 90.. also going yo show you how I'm gonna put adjustible coilovers.. so stay tuned :) Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Was this a crime of opportunity, or is there a reason you went with the S12 instead of the late S110? Quote Link to comment
80datson
Well crime of opportunity... if you seen an h190 at the yard wouldn't you do the same? :P.. but yeah its all the same to me. Besides the disk.. which I can easily change that.. if I was the s110 sitting there I would of done the same.. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The S110 is reported to bolt in. Will the S12 do the same? the 65 disk setup 1965 disk setup??? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Well crime of opportunity... if you seen an h190 at the yard wouldn't you do the same? :P.. Guess that depends on if it fits as well as the S110. :P Also curious if it's wider than the S110. If so, I'll probably be on the hunt for one... Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
1965 disk setup??? Thinking he means H165. ;) Quote Link to comment

80datson
Pretty much almost done.. couple more things left to get it finished anyways I put s110 brakes/rotors onto the s12 housing. Also have to weld a new bracket for the e cable. now I have a wider track base :) Quote Link to comment
80datson
Might have to take out the ¼ inch spacers and put them in the front when I lower it ;) Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Specs on those rear wheels? :) Wondering if my 14x7 -9 with a 185/60-14 will fill my flares with that diff. They won't quite fill the flares with the S110 diff. <_< Quote Link to comment
