On January 5, 2011, Dr. Julianne "Jules" Abendroth collapsed following a seizure, and died at her North Salem home. "Jules" was known for her love of teaching, her close relationships with family and friends, and her love of the outdoors, especially telemark skiing, hiking, and running with her border collies, Bella and Darcy. Her hobbies included restoration and modification of classic automobiles, with Datsuns her specialty. She was particularly proud of her Hawaii Blue 1977 King Cab pickup, christened "Elvis." The truck guy's should remember her truck, Her truck won an award at the last Canby show! We will miss her greatly!

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be sent to Willamette University in the name of Julianne Abendroth. Online condolences at www.hed-fh.com.

Indeed..... finally up to speed and slip into 5th, foot finally resting comfortably on the carpet, push back into the seat, check gauges once more ..... mid-range and a full tank, engine a smoothly running familiar sound... no worries there, traffic nonexistent out here, warm sun and wind in hair from the open window, tunes playing, fingers keeping beat on the outside of the door behind the mirror, all that's left is to just enjoy the road that stretches to forever, is there anything better?

sorry to hear, she was very proud of her 620KC. The first thing she said to us was (wife & I), thats my 620KC over there, while sporting a BIG smile. She was very nice person to talk to and she will be missed. :(

Our condolence go to the family and friends.

No flippin way. Thats terrible to hear. Met her and her husband at Canby last year. Very excited to talk about her KingCab and all the plans they had for it. She even bought her husband one of my t shirts, Pictured above^^^.
