Cleopatra Jones
Ok wasn't sure if there was something specific for weatherstripping or if there was something else that everyone seemed to use and worked well. Thanks for the info! Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
3M weather stripping. It is yellow, sticky, and messy. Wear gloves. Tape the areas above and below you won't want to clean after you apply. 1 Quote Link to comment
floyd17
What the heck is it...I think I like it. To be more clear, this is a b310 grille in whatever the hell that is. Looks like a Chevy Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
3M weather stripping. It is yellow, sticky, and messy. And it also comes in black and clear. ;) Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
I have used all of them. Yellow works the best. For me, at least. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I have used all of them. Yellow works the best. Oh no, you're right. The yellow stuff can glue dirt to air, I just use the clear so I don't make such a mess. 2 Quote Link to comment

mrmark
Gave my Datto a bath today, I'm always surprised at how fast that little car is to wash, less than half the time to do the wife's suburban. 3 Quote Link to comment
JDOM310
Anyone know if interiors of a 1982 720 would fit a 1980 210¿? Quote Link to comment
Lonestar
Anyone know if interiors of a 1982 720 would fit a 1980 210¿? Hmm duel post and to answer your question, No x 2. Completely different types of vehicle. Bucket seats out of another car will fit with modification to floor and seat rails. 720 Is a truck and if I'm thinking right, a bench seat, will not work at all. Anything else trim or what will not work either. Quote Link to comment
Cleopatra Jones
Only parts I know for certain that work from a 720 on a 210 is the 1/4 window latches, the window cranks and the auto shift knob if you've got an automatic car. Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
^ What he said. Probably the most asked for 210 part, short of the JDM bumpers. Quote Link to comment
Cleopatra Jones
This is good information. Found that out during trial and error. Desperately looking for a replacement I was taking from anything that had latches and looked close to what I had. I happened upon a truck that had only one in it and took it hoping it would work. It did and was good enough until I got a good set from ggzilla. This is the one I grabbed from the truck. Worked perfectly. 1 Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
Been searching for black dash and door panels Get in line. May have to settle for blue and some rattle can. Quote Link to comment
Cleopatra Jones
^^This. I always pull good dash pieces to sell cause I know everyone is always looking but I can tell you for a fact that brown hardly ever never pops up (which is the color I need), black is a step above the hardly never ever so just hardly and blue is always in abundance. At this stage in the game you'll either have to paint it or get crafty and make our own. If you look back on page 60 of this thread you'll see a pic of my entire dash. It used to be blue. You're lucky that you're looking for black. Will be easier to cover. 1 Quote Link to comment
