I lived in the East Bay area in various towns from 1982 to 1995 while working as a DoD civilian at Naval Air Station Alameda. I never lived in Oakland itself, just passed through mostly on my way to and from work. When the base closed, I sold the house, packed up and headed back to Everett, WA. Remember the Loma Prieta earthquake? The explosion in the Caldacott Tunnel? The fires in the Berkeley hills?

What does being from oakland have to do with having a sense of humor. I am born and raised in the East bay and the only ones i know who have a sense of humor are A's and Raiders Fans.

Well I will tell you this my red neck ass has been all up in Oakland in my 379X Peterbilt . Been to a few biker bars there, they told me to bring my country ass back any time . They also said Oakland was my town, Ha ha where the hell is my STICKER dang it !
