Missing the front valance or you just haven't painted it?

It's a charcoal grey....painted it back in the day when I did my engine bay....

.....the back is black........

....thinking of leaving it like this......maybe not..........we'll see what I have time for before Canby.........

Meant to quote you, stupid mobile device -_-

Doesn't look bad but I think it would look better to match with the new paint job OR, if you weren't doing two different color stripes you could paint it to match a single stripe color....

Finely replaced the bad rear stud, It was so easy. Here is the bad stud.

I took a BIG Ball Ping hammer I had and bumped on the bad stud and it came loose. I did put a little marvel history oil on it before I started just a small amount where the stud was attached to the hub.

Used a big nut with a few big washers to pull the new stud through.

in prepartion for the drive to canby, i was gonna fix the broken timing cover/alt backet bolt.

and install the header.

everything came apart nicely. never pulled the timing cover with the head on. we'll see how it goes back together.

to my surprise, the broken bit was no longer in the block.

wish i would of checked before i pulled it all apart :poop:

water pump was cracked.

called about 20 stores before i located a cast impellar replacement.

the stamped pumps looked like crap

then i test fit the header i had stashed and its about 2inches off the ground. not gonna work. FUCK!

up for trade for a KA header.

reassembly tommorow.
