It happens all the time when the battery posts get dirty/old, clean them up real good, the cable post connection is likely bad, sometimes the offending post will smoke when in the key is in the start position.

Or, you solved your starting issue by cleaning the cable, only to find out you have a parasitic draw

Maybe, I'm just a little frustrated with it ever had an issue since I bought it.

News flash today...Today marks the sombre ten year anniversary of a massive wildfire that devastated the towns of Barriere, McLure and destroyed Louis Creek. The town I live in had no power etc. etc. for 12 days, had the 720 loaded with all my 'valuables' ready to leave at a moments notice...that sucked bigtime....GL

The fire isn't my worry is just all the damn smoke I'm not too worried about the fire until it actually gets closer. It's not the first time this happens usually every summer Theres a big fire this one being the biggest one in very long time. It only take a careless idiot to flick a cigarette out the window of his car or camping out and bam we got a wildfire.

... I have to fix the running lights on one of mine as well ... pretty sure the switch is burned out. Relay , fusebox , and grounds have all been replaced..

The half inch is more for the back it has a slight arch can't really tell unless you really look.
