Pry the upper rear of door open a crack... then get some kinda wedge to keep it opened then fish door handle with stiff wire ( or neighbors antennae ) hook door handle .it should unlock as door pops open.

If you crunched it , you could cut the end off your old head gasket and use that with silicone . If you let silicone set up till almost rubbery it wont goober out as much...And use it sparingly or it makes more of a mess than you have now. Seen it , done it, not that uncommon for a new guy at all.

Well i rebuilt almost my whole car in two months from the parts i bought at those places , all wheel bearings, ALL new brakes, rubber hoses included, complete engine re-seal ,water pump, i must have 40+ receipts for those two places ..........and one (for that project ) from napa. And not once did i have to ask if everthing i need as actually in the box.

Fuck Altrom and fuck NAPA had to order this front cover set and it took TWO days............Went to Schucks / O`reillys in Tumwater and it was on the shelf. Oh, in case you can`t tell there`s no fucking oil pump gasket And dont even get me started on the NEW alternator i had to replace 3 months after installing in my 280zxt I only shop at Autozone and O`reillys for now...

Seems like every time my chain tensioner has went out it makes noise till you are at 2000 RPMs. but yeah take the cam cover off and make sure it isn`t something else less intensive. Do you know how to look through hole to see if your chains stretched to much??

I could have sworn i read you have air shocks on the wagon. Either you didn`t post or i cant find in here, where you bought your air shocks from ,,and for what vehicle they fit. ..He is probably going to need some rear lift, if going to make it over speed bumps they have at his school.. Although i am trying to talk him into lifting the whole car up as far as it will go and running 70 series snows all around , but he`s not going for it ...........YET.
