probably loose /corroded connection ,,just needed to come HERE vent and mellow.

Thinking i could make rack so i could carry six batteries then when one goes dead flip a switch and im back on track..LoL

Voltage drop equals resistance. Replace the cables to the batteries and and the connections. You have something besides copper between the battery and the alternator.
