Its kinda a problem. They have to call. Its that simple. They have to get the number of phone calls up. If they dont the party abandons them. They get support. If you really dont want to talk, politely excuse yourself from the phone. I know this since my mom is running for state rep.

If I get a call I simply tell them not to push me or I wont vote. Their goal is to mainly see who is going to win. They are poling to help predict the outcome, or atleast numbers of who will vote for who on their list.
