its time to replace my starter and i tried an auto starter and it seemed to work better than the manual tranny starter, i guess more windings since its fatter, can you get a gear reduction for these things? whats the highest rpm/highest torque starter for your l series.

dude how did i miss your threead, i just got done everything you ar edoing except i built a new motor for mine, dude i painted my brake and clutch master and the brake fluid barely seeped a bit and ruined the paint on both of them!!!! good luck!!! lol it sucks but eh what the heck, anyways looking good, i painted my bay gray for now but it will go the color of the truck when i blast and paint the whole thing, looking good though man keep it up, i know its time consuming but its worth it in the end

i didnt rotate my cable flange but i did straighten it out, i routed my cable from the front to the rear of the carb, the peddle is very smooth and it feels like a newer cars peddle, with my old hitachi you could feel the secondaries open up, now with the throttle return springs on the mikunis it feels awesome. do any of you every have a problem with your jet blocks unscrewing? mine do! it sucks, what size jets do you guys run? i run 140 main fuel in combo with an open chamber u60, isky .490 lift cam, and the head is port matched to the manifold

number 14 on how the cable hooks to the linkage, i guess im a bit confused, it looks like the cable sleeve is what actuates the arms, im having ahard time understanding just how that works, is this for a 510 style cable of for a 620? i ran mine totally different

depends on if you have a sidepull or centerpull setup.

lim o is 5% and sucks at night, you will have to roll down the windows, when you go get it tinted ask to see a few examples, i can tell you from experience dont go over 30% 20% is as high as i normally go and its right on the verge of being too light, some people like 30 but its so bright it salmost a waste of money, 20 or 15% would be my choice look at both and see hwat you think
