my egr light is on what do i do? remove all of the bull shit or what? the truck beeps like 4 times when i start it up ?

forgot to add that the guy threw in a free 5 speed out of a Z car, will it bolt up and not require any modification to the floor board or do i have to cut a hole farther back? also it is missing the shifter can i use the one off the 4 speed?

yeah i guess the guy backed into something oh well not much damamge, ill be taking that crap bumper off soon anyways

looks like brake fluid to me, i had the same problem in an old chevy truck a few weeks ago, changed both wheel cylinders at the same time took like 1 hour and 12 dollars, easy fix

well im in the process of getting my first datsun, 77 620 standard cab shortbox and im just doing some planning of what i want to do to it, how hard is it to remove all of the egr stuff?

i didnt know you were into landruisers? how big is your interest?

has anyone removed all of the emmisions crap from their engine? what all comes off and how did you do it?

hey guys i saved the rear window on a 77 toyota hilux that i scrapped a while back and i was wondering if any of you knew if it would interchange with a 620 rear window?

went down to my granpas old shop today and uncovered this l20b that he pulled from a wrecked 510 wagon. the wagon was almost new with approx 3000 miles on it!!! after he pulled it it sat for quite sometime before he decided he was going to put it into a 4 door 510 that he bought. he completely stripped it down cleaned it and reassembled it only to stash it away in his paint booth for about 20 years. lucky for me!!!!! i took off the oil cap and shined a light down in and you can still see the machine marks on the cam lobes!!! the outside of the motor is pretty dusty and the valve cover has a little oxidation but with little work ill have a brand new motor just as it came out of the factory. it has a U60 head and original plugs are even still in it!!! just thought you guys might like to hear an interesting story THANKS TO MY GRANPAS NEVER ENDING PROJECTS

thanks man you and ezcruiser have been a big help so far, i could spend probably anywhere from 1000$ to a penny just whatever you guys come up with, i dont care if its a little rusted i can work with pinholes, surface rust, etc. but i would rather not have a 620 thats falling a part unless im going to use it for parts, also i would like to thank everybody for replying to this thread so quickly, one more thing my grandpa has a 4 door dime that im sure he would give me, im not sure of its condition other than its interior and engine is stripped but i know he has all the parts in his shop the body has been sitting outside for 10+ years so i might try and get it and trade it if you know anybody interested, did i mention that the engine has 3000 original miles!!! auto tranny though :(, anyways i will check into the dime and take pics and put them in my albums soon, THANKS!

yeah man i talked to that guy about 4 months ago and at first he wanted 1000$ then he finally told me he would take 700$ his truck is still and option and i still might buy it if i dont find one around here, thanks though

so ive been searching for a 620 for quite a few months now and i all i have come up with is an old 520 which i dont want, and a very nice original 77 620 complete and running that is being held hostage by some asshole who is letting it rot in his yard because his grandpa gave it to him (the mans dead and i wonder how he would feel if his truck was rotting into the ground!) anyways guys i really need some help, im an 18 year old kid with very high welding skills and not alot of money so please help me find a 620 to call my own. i live in somerset ky and i desperately need some help, i want a 620 standard cab short box, ill take what i can get! thanks:(

i stumbled on this 69' 520 in somerset ky, the guy said he would sell it for 700$ but my guess is you could pick it up for 500$ or less, said to be in near running condition, needs work, body straight as an arrow, pm me if you are interested and i will try to get in contact with him.
