  1. actually you guys are right that looks pretty good!! i guess what i was trying to say was some rims/tires that i have seen that are low profile dont look good at all when they are smaller than the rim, yours look failry decent from the side, not too sure how they would look from the rear.

      no carlos not 225, 225 is too skinny, 225 is smaller than the rim.

  6. so i am thinking about bumping up the a 245, just 20 more millimeters or 0.866141732283465 inches wider than the 225, it would give me about 3/8 more meat on either side, thats not too much to ask is it??? do you think ill have a rubbing issue????
  7. and that is why your rim/tire combo looks like total horse shit. your rim is 36.322mm wider than your tire, you could probably run your truck down some kiddie train tracks on the lip of your rim. dude what were you thinking??? i have to see pics of this

  9. the versa chem rubberized is ok but its dark brown and is always tacky, i just use duplicolor bedliner
  10. fron arrow markers sold, taillight assemblies sold, nos rear window gasket sold, bump, make an offer on anything you want guys, im willing to work with you.
  11. im using the old style inductive, mine you have to have a jumper wire, you can t clamp it on the wire to read magnetic pulse like the new inductive. the digital are way overpriced, you wont use it for 15 minutes a year. the only thing i dont like about mine is its chrome, it slid of the fender one time and hit a battery post and ka pow i was welding!!!!
  12. no shit, and the realization that driving a car can be deadly, it always makes the kids think when they get to school and they realize that johnny wrecked his car and is now paralyzed or worse. we had like 5 kids die at my school from car accidents
  13. on rock auto it shows tie rods, some are inner and outer tie rod ends and some are the whole assembly??? im guessing moog has an essembly design? i need to go out and look at my truck. also why would you need a new centerlink???? this cant wear out unless it stretches??? its a big rod with threads on either end.
  14. sounds like that is my problem mike, its pretty sloppy, im buying tires this week, and im saving to do disc brakes in the front and when i do that im going to replace the idler arm and anything alse i can get at, and if i have money left over im gonna try and get a rear sway bar. when i was at the parts store they had a picture showing you all the steering components, does anyone have a diagram to help me identify everything, so that when i order from rock auto i make sure and get all i need? i knwo idler arm at least and various bushings. also i guess taking the truck to an alignment shop wouldnt be a bad idea either? i really dont trust any alignment shop though. also can somone elaborate on the pinto shock mod???? my truck rides a bit rough. i knwo it will be worse when iget the titans on

  16. also with the 235 i would have 2 and 15/16 of meat above the rim.
  17. what im trying to avoid is having a rim thats wider than the tread surface, the 225 is approx 5 millimeters too small for the rim, the 235 is approx 1/8 inch or 6mm bigger than the rim, which would make the rim and tire look flush and have approx 3 mm worth of extra meat on either side, there should be plent y of romm under my truck for the 235. damn they are more expensinve though!!!! ide rather pay the extra dough now then be unsatisfied with the look, whoever is running 225 you should swap for the 235, extra wheel protection and an overall better look for you truck.
  18. yeah but the lip does stick out, it looks wrong, it looks as if someone tried to put too big of a rim on too small of a truck, im going to try and go with the 235 40 18
  19. im ordering some tires for my titans this week and well im not to sure about it. i knwo alot of you guys run a 225 40 18 but im concerned that the rim will be sticking out past the lip of the tire. i dotn want that, i hate that and im not about to order tires from california just to have them look like crap. i was thinking about going with a 235 40 18 or maybe even wider if i can. can somebody take a picture of their tire on the rim so i can see the rim surface/tire sidewall relationship?
