i took the bearing off of it, it sounded gritty when i took it apart so i threw out the bearing and kept the collar, you can still buy just the bearing and put on it though. most of your clutch kits come with the bearing and collar already.

all prices include shippng charges, shipping still applies to free stuff, if i forget to price somthing just ask. most of this is crap i threw in a box because its super hard to throw datsun stuff away, hopefully there is something here one of you can use. exhaust and carb heat shields free, 71 240z seat belts 35 shipped need cleaned but are in good shape, 620 fan 15$, 620 radiator shroud 15$, pile of smog stuff(diaphram, canister, canister bracket, other random egr crap) free, 620 air cleaner with almost new filter 30$, single points dizzy complete and super low miles zero shaft play 28$, 620 aluminum sill plate one hole not bent or dinged up 15$, 620 ash tray chip on back but not cracked (my brother stepped on it! :angry: ) 10$, stock 620 u bolts with lock washers and nuts 7$, 620 clutch forks used but not worn out 10$ a peice, oil pan thingys free (unless you cant tell me what they are for), z car tranny mount free, bcdd solenoid for hitachi carb (extra clean and great working order) 12$, stock radiator cap (could use blasting but will hold pressure fine 5$, auto tranny flexplate spacers extra clean barely used no rust 15$, coils? free but i dont know what shipping would be, throwout bearing collar 6$, bump stops 20$, speedo cable came off auto tranny i dont know if it works but it has barley been used sat for 20 years 10$, egr timer works 10$, 620 fuel filter holder with filter 7$, new condensor 4$, 510 (? maybe 610?) engine block motor mount brackets 25$, 620 battery bracket (bent and rusty but useable 6$, voltage regulator works fine 10$, datsun mudflap no rips or cuts 8$ and the mud is free, anything else like fuel hardlines or the heater hose or anything else random is free + shipping. i hate to charge you gusy anything for this crap if i didnt have to ship it you could come and get it.

mine sat factory new with cam installed for 20 years plus, i took it apart cleaned it, and ive run the hell out of it, im talking 5500-6000 rpm all day long, 600 miles in and no problems so far. knock on wood.

lay the paint on medium then a good wet coat, i cant see your paint trail in the primer, good luck man i am looking forward to seeing this thing painted!!!! whats your plans for that engine?

I'd call it rusty. ah mike you know some good break in oil will polish those pits right out!!

drop the bottom end, measure bore, hone, and replace with appropriate rings, bada bing bada boom, like maybe 80 bucks

honestly i wouldnt mess with drilling it, slap your manifold on there, i honestly doubt you are gonna be able to tell a difference other than possible cooler carb temps and like mike (hey isnt that a movie?) said maybe a loss of fuel mileage but hey whats a 32nd of a mpg gonna really hurt? honestly if i had the holes (which i did) i would put a 1/4 inch npt allen head pipe plug in them, i my existing holes needed no drilling juts a simple tap and some plugs and threadlocker. i have heard of people having problems sometimes running the manifolds with the water passages, the intake gasket leaks and water comes out the exhaust causing the illusion of a blown head gasket.

you have to have alot of passion for the nostalgic l20b to put that much time money and effort to get that little of gain, you could build a 1000+ sr20 or ka24 for alot less money than that! and it would probably be more reliable, hell i owuld try and build some sort of turbo 2.0 around here if we had a machine shop that was worth a damn and if i had someone around here who wasnt a complete honda ricer meth cooking goverment sucking 2nd grade toothless idiot
