so i got in some trouble but it gave me time to work on my truck. wont be driving till april. live and learn not to be dumb. but anyway on the plus side. got the exhaust redone by hooligan. awesome work! recommend to everyone. 2in piping with raptor turbo muffler. quite but nice tone. tucked under chrome tip So i was gonna rebarrel my steelies. i had the boxes and was gonna send them but i talked to ted out of the blue to see if he sill had his super uber rare western watanabee style rims. and he did! got a good deal (recommend buying from him, awesome guy.) my dream rims and i got a set of 5!!! this is the first rim i got done, was sand blasted and after HOURS of sanding i got it to look like this <a href="http://s1243.photobucket.com/user/red76datsun/media/Snapbucket/776DCBE4_zps9db0c1f6.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg545/red76datsun/Snapbucket/776DCBE4_zps9db0c1f6.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 776DCBE4_zps9db0c1f6.jpg"/></a> gonna polish the center too. mess with different paints till i find one i like and have jrock powder them. suggestions? maybe bronze, cream, white, black 15x8.5 -24 offset deep. heres some hard to see fitment pics still undecided on tire size. gonna probably have to roll the lip. thinking 205 50s. and my favorite part. DISC BRAKE SWAP 280zx MC on its way along with beebanis mount, and a ton of bushings. should be here this weekend. went to the yard and got hardbody 4x4 calipers. isuzu rodeo rotors gonna tear down the front end tomorrow after work. cant wait to stop well. gonna do the backs eventually also. oh and a little interior touch, alot cleaner than the rising sun since i cant drive i have alot more money for parts. which is nice. trying to get it done little by little. more updates throughout this week of the disc swap. did he get a KA? i have monroe shocks load adjusting shocks and i like them. gonna switch to air shocks pretty soon though. good quality shocks

ill see if i can make it out. pre runners are sweet. very cool. i love baja bugs and thats what got me to like any baja basically. with the right gears a l20 would do well. maybe air shocks to help in the back? figure out the right stiffness?

ya i think a spring over would work well. crank up the torsions. 4 link isnt easy. gotta be able to weld pretty well. a prerunner would be sweet though. unique unlike all us "in the dirt" guys :thumbup:

this is why i love ratsun. people that go out of there way to help.its the ratsun way! also about the radiator, that happend to mine and i took it to a shop and they saudered (dont know how to spell it) a new piece on for free. just a thought if you have a way to get there or a saudering gun. if i were closer id offer to help. good luck

Nice ride. glad someone picked this up. saw it on craigslist for a while. Suspension first. The truck needs to handle the motor before hand. Also im in love with the steering wheel. specs on it?

ill be there all weekend again. 17 and my second canby trip and hope to keep going every year. Its not about trophies or whos better whos best. Getting to see all these Datsun enthusiasts who bust there ass to get their Datsun there is the point. seeing all these cars and trucks, meeting new friends and old ones. Appreciating all the hard work to set up this event. Having a good time with cars we all love. Hell yes.

I don't remember the size but I couldn't get mine off when I de-smogged it, all heat and rusted on. When I put my 32/36 weber on they were in the way so I just cut a section out of them and plugged them. tough to get out but awesome if you do. Nice build goijng here!
