I welded 1/4" for 11 hours straight on a 110 miller... but if your never going to take your welder anywhere, buy the 240v

Hobart is owned by Miller. It's the economy version. I've seen restoration shops use Hobart everyday.... With everyday use, they last 2-3 years. I have the Millermatic 211, since I move every 2-3 years its nice to be able to plug into 110 in the event I don't have 220 wired in the garage yet. Miller's autoset works surprising well.

YOu filled pump before putting it on

you pour 1 quart down front.

is there any more oil than that in it??

A oil pump needs to push oil with more oil. if pan isn't full it can't work.

      BUT

If pan is full,,,,,,,,, your screwed.

  14. only have one done but here are my 15x8.5 -24 western miniltes. wrapped in 195-55s
  15. ya only reason I didn't do the upper control arms is because of cost. im satisfied with the hardbody conversion. and the calipers are fat 2 pistons that would stop a 620 with ease
  16. I got mine from oreillys so maybe ill return it. Shouldn't cost much more than the one I have now
  17. how many amps is the hardbody alt? from a ka HB?
  18. alright grammar nazi, im only a senior, cant expect me to know how to spell  alternator wise, just a stock 40? amp for now. maybe eventually ill try and upgrade it with the GM one but for now this does the job. you swapped yours right?
  19. so here are some mock ups with the a87 I had. so stoked on the color choice and jrocks work! the for sale sign is gonna say "just kidding"
  20. thanks man! I got a call from the machinest this morning and the head is done. cant pick it up till Friday :crying: have the head studs already. just bought an alt. still need a el dizzy , water pump, fuel pump, and a shit ton of fluids haha
  21. here was my cost brackets $160 rotors $90 hardbody calipers from the junkyard $40 MC $90? pads $30 and fluid.
  22. Thanks. Wheels were just lucky find when I had money. Sometimes i wish they were 15x10s but the fitment on this is okay with me
  23. damn ive been slackin hard on this. gonna try and update as much as possible. done a little bit of work on the truck so here we go. no more classic look, completely different direction and i love it :w00t: so after i sold the motor, here was the bay paint on this truck is rough. not look wise but quality wise, i was done with the red bay "hard to keep clean" yes yes i know but im up for the challenge. this is how shitty the paint is, came off from masking tape. doesnt bother me but man i have shitty paint haha then i got some goodies in the mail for this fresh block, bored .20 over resurfaced flywheel, polished crank, and reconditioned rods. buds machine shop in tacoma is a awesome shop bottom end went together like cake then went to jrocks shop and he hooked me up with some crazy amazing work as always. everything on thi engine is this color, VC, thermo housing, hood hinges, timing cover, r1 manifolds. i was wet. put her on the ground that was 3in blocks and one leaf gone. i now have 4s and 2 leafs gone time for a wire tuck  sooooo easy for people wondering battery in cooler in be. has holes in it for vents. drilled a hole in the bed floor and ran the hotwire across the frame. cut the battery tray out. not perfect but neither is the whole truck. took the harness out and ran it through the kick panel. mounted to the inner fender. and drilled a hole in the core support. only had t extend my valence light wires, nothing else. then the other side is just your hood latch. easy and worth it everythiing hooked up. ran the alt wires right past the shock towers in. heres a decent pick of one rim done and her stance. rear is a little lower now. z wood wheel i picked up :w00t: and heres her current state all wires are hooked up. 5 speed swap is in. she stops on her own power. picking up the port and polished u67 head with a mild isky cam monday. already have arp head studs. monday there will be pics. shes coming, slowly but surely
