Bleach
The original Craigslist ad has been up for a month. The best parts go within 24 hours. 2 Quote Link to comment

wayno
The Vancouver WA pick and pull has a 1982 Datsun regular cab 720 with a decent looking flatbed on it, the sides are crap but the actual flatbed part looks decent, they said $220.ish out the door, if I needed a flatbed I would probably buy that one, I didn't measure it, but with stock type wheels with dually adapters it might be wide enough for a dually. Didn't have my camera with me, first time I have been to the wrecking yard in a long time. 1 Quote Link to comment

Bleach
I don't see any 620s listed online for the self-pull yards. Datsuns are in low supply right now in the NW yards. 1 Quote Link to comment

Budget Truck Wrecking. https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/pts/6016389257.html Does anyone have experience with that yard? I stay away from all those Auburn yards for the past 15 years after many unfavorable visits. Rude employees, they pull parts, very overpriced. Quote Link to comment
hobospyder
I was gonna have Ted look at the windshield on the 620 for me but he said he'd already been there and they were picked over pretty good already Quote Link to comment

I stay away from all those Auburn yards for the past 15 years after many unfavorable visits. Rude employees, they pull parts, very overpriced. Apologies, I have never been to any yards up that far North of me. I do agree though that many "close to the city" yards are just that, expensive, rude, and I hate closed yards. I just happen to run across the ad, I did not notice at first but it has been up for almost a month. That usually means picked over. They always post the picture of the vehicle when it first arrived to bait you into coming down and finding a stripped out shell. Pick & Pull does that too. Always check your dates and expect it to be picked over. You never know though, sometimes even a blind dog finds a nice bone. I have hit gold for my Z before. Quote Link to comment
Bleach
After 4 weeks in the yard, I was surprised to find most of a 260Z up near Lake Stevens. (that car has now been crushed) ya it does happen but also the good parts often go within 24 hours. If a car has a sought after engine or head, most likely someone will show up the first day and take the entire engine. 1 Quote Link to comment
tdaaj
Trucks in auburn may still have some good parts, i just gog what i had time for, but that was a month ago. Quote Link to comment

DVS240
I went to Pick & Pull in Tumwater today, they had a 85 Maxima Wagon that was mostly intact. It has only been on the yard since Tuesday. http://row52.com/Vehicle/Index/JN1HU15S1FX003306 I grabbed the rear disc's and a few other bits. They also has an 84 pick up that was more picked over. http://row52.com/Vehicle/Index/JN6ND06S1EW014994 I only grabbed the shifter that was laying in the cab. This weekend is a half price sale. I am going back to return some cores. If anyone has a request for something I would consider working something out. 1 Quote Link to comment

Eric flemming
As far as the older cars being crushed you can thank Obama ( O bummer ) for that one! His cash for clunker bit! just another way to make the car company's rich. 1 Quote Link to comment
