Buddy in Pacifica had a '68 hardtop...383 with 440 heads and a tunnel ram. A single 600 Holley for everyday driving, then switch the top and run dual 600's (660's?) on the strip. IIRC best time was 10.48. Sucked gas like a pig. When the gas crisis hit in '73, we'd be cruisin' Daly City to siphon gas on the off day. Quote Link to comment

Did the lights, rings and some of the rear of the car semi-gloss black. Shouldve gone flat, but the semi was what we gots. Been thinkin for a whyle how to do the tails.
