DaBlist
Hope they got it out before total loss. Hate seeing classics burn Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Judging by the rest of the car's attire, that classic was already a loss. 1 Quote Link to comment
DanielC
I had a 1968 bug. The fittings on the fuel pump are just press in. Quote Link to comment
tr8er
Camber bug? That's hot. Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
The new kind of bug owner that is more concerned with fitment than function. Same kind as the one using plastic fuel filter and cheap lines unshealded from the heat, wrapped fuel lines with heat shield wrap and metal/glass fuel filters go a long way! 1 Quote Link to comment
505plus5
I had a 1968 bug. The fittings on the fuel pump are just press in. Me too! It was green with a black crashed hood, second gear popped out if you didn't hold it in place, it had an 1800 motor, and it was fast. No parking space after a while so then had to sell it. RatVonDude
I just drove from eugene to la.. averaging 48mpg and over 600 miles per tank. All and all 850 cheap, dirty miles. I for sure will not be getting the recall software applied. What kind of car? VW ? Looking into GTI Quote Link to comment

hobospyder
Nice. Wish I could get my hands on a rabbit but I wouldn't know what to do with it. Got a 98 golf that I roll as a daily for the hour commute. Wish I had a tdi Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
I'm sure you could pick one up pretty easily right now.. Quote Link to comment
hobospyder
Don't have the money for it. Golf set me back more than I wanted for getting it back on the road. Gonna go back to using it as a daily to make up for it and slowly work on it. Maybe a big project for next summer when using bike and little miss to get places. Quote Link to comment
