fontana620 Posted January 4, 2009 Report Share Posted January 4, 2009 (edited) 1st off this is Mark [pcd] using Guy's computer :D The last 2 days have been very long & very productive. Both Datrod & 73 dat stopped by to hang out & help for a bit...TY guys it means alot! Heres a list of what we've got done so far... removed seat & cleaned interior... got her running...HOO-RAY! rebuilt clutch slave... removed & sanded bed.. sandblasted the frame,gas tank & underside of bed. cleaned out gas tank [nasty].. primered frame & bed... cut off rusted rocker panels... got 1 rocker made & partially welded in place.. sanded the roof & front fenders... We also had help from Carlos.a good friend of Guy's who's specialty is bodywork :thumbup: We've been putting in 15 hour days so far the results are worth it. Ok a few pix before i pass out :o clean floor no wrench needed.. dirty frame.. PS rocker..wasted.. chris & guy... & the bed prepped.. The color has been picked & it top secret for now....maybe ill be able to shoot a part of the truck today & then you guys will know:D Nice pix Chris..especially the faucet exhaust tip :rolleyes: Ok a few more of the madness... the contents of the gas tank after it soaked overnight..JEEZ !!! sanding has begun.. most of the frame sandblasted... & to get the rest...forklift to the rescue... guy blasting... underside of bed before... me blasting...too much fun :lol: tank & bed blasted then primed... then a few coats of undercoating... primer time... more pix tonight..its work time!!
