KiloTango1200
To my surprise, Lead Singer Bruce Dickinson holds an ATP rating and is Captain of the tour aircraft. They have upgraded to a 747-400 for their new world tour. He is getting his type rating from Cardiff Aviation "which he owns". New found respect for a cool old band. 4 Quote Link to comment

KiloTango1200
Looks like a 200 to me! Looks like a 200 to me! It was an artist rendering. The artist probably didn't know the difference. Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
who would want to mess with this looks mean as hell The USAF toyed with the idea of retiring the Warthog until the USArmy eagerly replied that they would take them all and any pilots that wanted to continue flying them! The USAF still flies Warthogs! Best front line support to the grunts facing tanks in recent memory. Best quote from an Air Force pilot that I once worked with, "You just can't imagine what fun it is to fly at tree top level, pop over a ridge and grease a whole line of tanks!" Depleted Uranium slugs decimate armor plate. Not to mention crews. 2 Quote Link to comment
