Bory
Here is good view of the rear fender area, if you look at the bottom edge you can see the slight flare on this angle. Quote Link to comment

KlassicMotion
The Mustang wheels look better on your truck than they do on the Mustang! Is there enough backspacing to be able to run a lug adapter and put the other Mustang wheels up front?.... Or maybe you have other plans? Quote Link to comment

Bory
Good and bad, so I did an initial fire up and it started right up and sounds super bitchin. Top off Trans with about 12 quarts, with lines and cooler. But never went into gear. Had to pull the dang thing out. Took me 7 frickin hours. There was so much shit to disconnect with cooling lines exhaust cooling lines fluid lines. Just sucks. I did a bench job on it so no clue what's up. Trans guys said he thinks it's the pump. Pics to follow. Quote Link to comment
Ranman72
this is one of those trucks you pull the body to change the tranny Quote Link to comment
Bory
I almost had to, had to disconnect one side and lift it up to get the Trans x member I made out. Half the battle was trying to save work and have to do it anyway. Super frustrating day. I should be doing burnouts Right now. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I should be doing burnouts Right now. If you had used a manual trans, you would be... I keed. B) Quote Link to comment
Bory
I wish the doner car was a T5 car. I got the Trans back the same day and reinstalled. So smokys Coming up!! 1 Quote Link to comment
Bory
Why in the trunk of a focus? Quote Link to comment
Bory
Found out that the shifter used In the foxbody is a hammer ratchet b&m. It's hard to adjust and burns clutches out if not so I'm looking for a stock foxbody aod shifter. Quote Link to comment
Redboxracing
I know when I put the aod in my 82 mustang I had to buy an adapter tv cable to use with carb or else you won't have any pressure rise when you step on the gas and trans will burn up real fast Quote Link to comment
Bory
Was it the kick down cable? Quote Link to comment
Redboxracing
It is a TV cable not a kickdown cable. It controls shift timing and pressure. If not hooked up and adjusted you will burn your trans up. Google it to understand better Quote Link to comment
Bory
Oh ya I have that cable all worked out, had to cut a section off the throttle body linkage from the fox, and weld it to the holly I'm using, to get the right angle for the cable, plus had to make a special bracket to mount the cable to the carb.
