He would only see other people on the weekend, and only then if the weather was good. Fast forward 50 years, they are closing the bay to try to keep it from completely dying. Sad. My grandfather always tells me how los cabos and Cancun were like some beach oasis that youd see in a movie until the big hotels came into play and now pretty much own everything. He says they told the people it would bring money to the area when really all of the profit is going to European and American hotel owners.
