^^^Exactly! His name is Bill and he said he was selling for a friend. I told him I was in the studio recording and I would make it later with cash to match the offer. We had a gentleman's agreement on the deal via the deposit....some people. If he didnt want to do the deal, man up, let me know....

Same thing happened to me with a guy from Oregon. Lost $200 from money order and there were 3 people involved with selling one car. Was going to go up and "talk" to the guy who took me money but I just let it go. A lesson learned for me

1973 Datsun 240 Z odometer: 80000title : clean

I have a 1973 Datsun 240 Z for sale or trade. I will trade it for a nice truck or car. I am asking 4800 OBO for it, and if you bought it, it would be easy to make a profit off of it. Price is flexible. These are highly desired cars. I am a college student in need of money, and I need to sell this quickly. If you can make me a reasonable offer either call or email me. These are great cars, and their value continues to climb. You can reach me at show contact info.
Best regards,
Daniel T.

Love this color.

http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/datsun/510/1650615.html

A friend of mine actually saw the car and said it's worth 9-10k tops.

Here are a few problems he found. But could be address. Just need time and money.

Electrical issues...front high beams and brake lights were not working.

Engine was running rough. Some kind of exhaust/manifold leak.

Rear wheel well inner lips are cut, not rolled.

Has a dash cap. and only has 1 rear blue license plate...no front.

Has a small spot were paint is bubbling up. Lower Passenger door area.

And also said it might have had a small dent or hit in the rear, next to the license plate.

So please be aware......but other than that the car is pretty clean.
