CaliforniaDays
They're all saveable. They're saveable for sure, but I bet you could find one in a better condition than that. I lived near where this car is for sale and the cars that I've seen in that condition are complete rustbuckets. Almost mistook them for an old VW  Quote Link to comment

I picked up a Toyota from there once and it came apart into 4 pieces. I am thinking this. I mean sure you can save them but you will probably have to replace 30 percent of the metal. The trucks would be fine but the 1200 unibody.. forget about it Quote Link to comment
CGS1948
I had one of these (1961) as an everyday driver about 20 years ago. Not a freeway flyer, but definitely rode OK for a leaf sprung beam axle truck. 1960 221 http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/4454414473.html Lots of solid metal there, hope somebody rescues it. CGS1948
Sure wouldn't pay 14K for it... X2 Nice paint job on an old car, and a great interior. The battery location isn't good, get it out of the spare tire well and into a battery box. B) Quote Link to comment

CGS1948
I didn't know they made a 220 221 and 222? Did try or is that bs? I had a 1961 Datsun 223 about 20 years ago, and it had the round 60 hp emblem on the side of the front fender, and a round 60 hp emblem on the dash, like my '63 320. It still had the straight axle in front that year. I paid $300 for it with a clean title, and a frozen engine. Cleaned out the radiator and gas tank, soaked the engine with light oil through the spark plug holes, pryed it loose with a breaker bar. After setting the points, cleaning the plugs, a little ether, then gas, fired right up. I drove it every day for about a year, then sold it. Quote Link to comment
