pwee4u2c
I recently got a center console for my 73 B110 coupe, and now I have a big circle hole driving me crazy...I seen a guy on here use a Crown Royal bag, but didn't care much for the look. Well if anyone knows a neat way to do it, I'd like to hear it...thanks Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
generic ones can be bought on ebay, i want a crown royal Black bag for mine, i just cant stand to drink the stuff :P 2 Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
You can buy new ones from Nissan. They are leather bags (or pleather). 1 Quote Link to comment
Dawa
i cam tell you that a lot of those genetic ones are thin rubber and develop holes sooner or later. even if you were to run a crown royal bag or somethin similar youd want to use that over a rubber boot boot= keeps out noise/cold/hot/water etc something over the boot = asthetics Quote Link to comment
pwee4u2c
Thanks for the quick responses guys. Well I have the rubber piece, but mine is square...the hole in my console is round. I'm not much of an eBay person considering I'm a low budget builder. But the dealership sounds smart I've yet to try that...I'd still rather make a custom budget friendly option Quote Link to comment
merlin
id just source one from a junk yard... modern faux leather with a predesigned mounting ring sounds way easier...or a from a hotrod mag. 1 Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The genuine Nissan console shifter boot is not a rubber boot. Datsun 210s came with 3 boots: 1. Transmission shifter boot (rubber round) 2. Floor shifter boot (rubber oval) 3. Console shifter boot (rectangular hole) transmission floor hole Quote Link to comment
pwee4u2c
Well I have the rubber to block out noise...I want to make the leather one that goes up the shifter Quote Link to comment
DatWifey
You could always try to track down the stock part number for a specific one that you may want that would fit and see if nissanparts.cc has it. I just ordered one a few weeks ago for my '66 Roadster and it showed up on my doorstep about a week later. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Bprojects has a genuine Nissan console boot. Nissan price is $36 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Console-Shift-Lever-Boot-DATSUN-SUNNY-B310-Black-NOS-NIPPON-NISSAN-GENUINE-NEW-/220577874664 Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
A popular Ratsun shift boot is this ... requires no modifictions, just put a hole in the bottoom and bolt it to the console boot bracket. Quote Link to comment
HRH
Jegs or Summit. Tons of options. I have a nice Hurst floor shifter in there. Be warned, if you get the chrome plate one, occasionally you get blinded when the sun is at the right angle and you shift to certain gears. Still worth it, I love mine, keeps out cold and wet. a.d._510_n_ok
my wife had to have the Crown maple for Christmas. I wasn't impressed. it tasted like good whiskey spiked with waffle house syrup. Love the black though.....ain't ever had the $$$ for the Select. Quote Link to comment
JoeCool
I'm not going to buy the liqour, not much of a drinker, and when I do it's beer or once in a while wine with dinner. People are selling the bags all the time on Ebay for around $5.00. Hell, you can even buy a custom embroidered bag from Crown Royal's website for only $10. Quote Link to comment
Dat Lurka
5$ for a crown bag? I get mine from a liquor store I deliver too. I might invest in crown royal bags. Quote Link to comment
