q-tip
The AMC stuff is cool in my book and they can really move. Yeah, they're no r3 powered lark though Quote Link to comment
smoke
Talk about a rare car. Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Yeah, but it will blow the doors off of a hemi powered mopar, and it looks like a crushed foot Quote Link to comment
smoke
Actually, no. That's a blown up legend made up by Studebaker fans. While it would indeed beat most stock hemi powered cars, it was not by the assload people claim. I mean, the lark actually ran high 12 in stock trim, like 12.95 or something in the range, which is pretty darn good. I think they only made like 10 of them. So if a guy compared it to low run, factory fast cars, like say the thunderbolt, it would have it's lunch money taken away. But still, WAY cooler than any big three as far as I am concerned. 1 Quote Link to comment
q-tip
I was comparing stock trim to stock trim, I know its not a complete blow out but the fact that the ugly little lark could take a big block car in the quarter is impressive in itself. Thunderbolts are sweet. 1 Quote Link to comment
smoke
Forced induction is the answer to all, even my mower. Quote Link to comment
q-tip
Tried that once, blew it up real quick like. Did the "redneck" supercharger, just hooked a leaf lower to it. I think it was pulling the governor off of it that blew it though... Quote Link to comment
hobospyder
My lawn mower needs something. Probably a good cleaning in a hot bath or something but damn I hate starting that thing Quote Link to comment

a.d._510_n_ok
this thing was a local show winner about 20 years ago. I thought it was tacky then and I think it is tacky now. Having said all that, it sold for $1200 within an hour of showing up at the swap meet last month. 1 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
I like the paint on that Mazda! Old school minitruckin at it's most heinous! Fixed. Brings back a lot of memories though... Best friend in high school had one that looked very similar, only he had the good sense to paint it white... ^_^ Quote Link to comment
JoeCool
Some cool cars I have seen over the past couple of weeks at the Autozone I work at. A 1973 Ford Capri, no, not a Mercury. This was a European import. All original and a 2 owner. Owner wanted and got an Optima battery. A Nissan 280 ZX. Fully restored and beautiful. Got some ceramic brake pads and a thermostat. I usually don't care for jacked up trucks, but this thing was bad ass! 48" military tires, 1 ton axles and suspension. 2 Quote Link to comment

a.d._510_n_ok
in a past life I was a MOPAR guy (mostly slant sixes) and still have some friends in the Cult of the Pentastar. One of them recently dragged this Satellite out from under a shed where it had rested for 30+ years. Never seen a Satellite with the "Plymouth" decal on the rear quarters but in the muscle-car era MOPAR would do any thing for cash so who knows.....this was a bench seat car but the new owner swapped in some Vega high back buckets. just a former 318 car btw. 1 Quote Link to comment
