uberkevin
Do I like how it looks yes. Do I give a fuck about how people view it. No. Will I take it off.. Mostly likely for different style.. from the bottom corner of the fender angled up the finder.. Smaller Sun circle too. Ka.. I'm taking my time. I have no reason to rush That and I tent to hurt my self.. My eyes could have bee eaten from my their sockets.. I'm also waiting on parts. I've got some sick kick panels on the way, along with some other nice things :) May thing I need to figure out is radiator and that really just a matter of going to a junk yard. I was able to get a pretty good deal on this Clearly not my photo but that's what It will look kinda like. Blackmarkit makes them. He is also helping out with the motor mount. 3 Quote Link to comment

denmarkboy
I just had to fight threw a radiator issue and found a local guy that will build aluminum ones . He quoted me 225 to Custom fit one in the Lil hooker . Right now it has a Cooper 5 core now. If you give me all of you dimensions and were you want everything I could get you a quote. Example , he told me 175 for a factory 620 app. And that's 2 core aluminium . The core are huge in these things . He said a modern 2 core would cool better than my 5 core. 1 Quote Link to comment

bananahamuck
the part on the left?? Will you still be able to hook up your alternator and water pump without that extension ? 3 Quote Link to comment

TENDRIL
unless you had the crankshaft, rods and pistons all balanced with a balanced pulley i'd keep it Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
I'd toss it. The outer part is for PS I believe. The inner part is the actual balancer. If the WP and alt can still run without the outer...you just saved rotational weight. 1 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
That's what I figured. Was mainly just wondering cuz the whole thing is pretty heavy.. Thanks TENDRIL. 1 Quote Link to comment

uberkevin
Couldn't find anyone that has taken it off, Or I couldn't type the right works. 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Looking again...that out part is the balancer. Later Nissans changed that. If it were mine...I wouldn't use it. But I'm a rebel. 1 Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
when i was building mine i did the research and came to the point where it didn't matter to me and i kept it unless you had different pulleys for diff. alt and water pumps Rpm's , and if you were to get that scientific, you should/would have everything balanced and wouldnt need a H/bal. it pretty much makes up for the lack of detail from the factory, and mass production, if they perfectly balanced every motor , the could not keep up with supply 1 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
Yeah definitely didn't have everything balanced. 1 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
Just cuz. This is z22 I believe. I like how it has a dawl along with the six bolts. Middle is also what is balanced I think 'only say that cuz it has drill holes', like the ka the middle is heavier then the outta part. 1 Quote Link to comment
Rhino13
Have you gotten everything straighten out? I want to see some pictures of this thing! 2 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Harmonic balancer doesn't really have anything to do with your rotating/reciprocating assembly being balanced or not. Keep it. 2 Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
Lines up good. Small gap in one mount to rubber but I think it will fix once I bolt it down. NO trans in the picture, I am pulling the ka right now and bolting on the transmission. Gotta thank blackmarkit for helping me out on this. 4 Quote Link to comment
