That's what I was thinking. But then it would twist the rubber mounts.

 

I think.

 

It was a pain in the fucking ass getting it in.

Tomorrow I'll get the transmission on...

Don't really want to pull the ka but have installed a trans from under the truck before.

I can see that it is leaning towards the driver's side, which it is supposed to do. Z and KA both lean the opposite way of L's. 

But through all of this you are making little mention of how bad it is leaning. 

 

 

Are the mounts on the correct side? Facing the correct way?

This might be a truck ka-e driver side mount not a 240sx one.

 

Kinda wanna just start working in the garage but sleep has been avoiding me..

Past two nights I've been working alone.

When we work alone we were told we make 5 more dollors then normal... I got a raise from 12 bucks the other day... and I'm killing on hours. 10 today and 12 yesterday.. things are starting to look better.

 

The mount isn't a big deal to me. I know I'll figure something out.. blackmarkit told me once I see if the transmission fixes the problem and it doesn't he'll take care of it. So that's pretty fucken bad ass. Haha

 

Well.. off to sleep maybe.

I will be building one the same way, truck block with car intake. Just not this one.

 

Thanks Redeye pictures should help me out a bunch.

Even tho I think I know where most things go.

I don't know how different the 2 are as far as mounting them needs to be. 

 

 

They are the exact same mounting pattern. 

 

 

 

 

The motor is clocked wrong in the engine bay. It is rotated too far this direction

Now that I'm not home I look at this pic. Or may be touching.

 

 

The bottom of the block should be parallel to the cross member. 

 

 

 

Dang :-\ hows thw oil pan look? I have an extra 3/4 inch spacer thay will sit under the passenger side chassis mount if u wanna try that, worked for my last ka swap

 

 

The blackmarkit mount is supposed to replicate that 3/4" spacer so I think he would have the same issues.

It may be that the truck mount is shorter than the car mount. I have a stock car mount at home I can measure so you can compare if I don't forget :lol:
