chester Posted April 13, 2012 Report Share Posted April 13, 2012 I'm running a spintech 6000 series muffler with 2.25 inch pipe. Its a little loud but I think it sounds great. Rotary510 Posted April 13, 2012 Report Share Posted April 13, 2012 I have tried many type of mufflers on my Rotary and they are all - MIGHTY, SUPER DEE DUPER, HOLY CRAP, OMG, SHUT THE FUCK UP..."LOUD"!!! I am still not sure what kind of exhaust I can put in the Rotary that will make it mildly loud, but smooth enough not to piss everyone off. been pulled over 5 times for the loud mufflers and have not gotten tickets because most cops understand that i have a resonator and a muffler and I carry purchase receipts. I tell them I have "ported Rotary engine" so they usually just ask to try other ways to not be so loud...but me "I LIKE IT LOUD" ...me love you long time loud! :rofl: Quote Link to comment

I had one of these in 2.5 inch in/out let. I gave it away . I thought it would be too big to put by the drive shaft like the stock resonators. then run a 3 chamber turbo muffler Roatarys are hard to quiet down. In Australia I thought I heard chain saws in the streets and look out my Hotel Room I see a Bad Ass RX4!!!!!!!!!!!!I said NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!Havent seen one of these forever Quote Link to comment
