620fever
Hey guys, I'm looking for someone around the Seattle area who's good with L series motors and wants to earn a little extra cash helping me finish my project. I've been changing the head gasket on my l20b for months now and it's been hard to find the time and motivation to finish it. At this point I just want my 620 running again and am sick of fumbling around with the project and screwing stuff up. If anyone's interested hit me up, I seriously doubt it would take more than a few days with someone who's experienced. At this point the heads off the front cover is on but may need to come off again, new timing set is installed. Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
Did the head gasket break for a certain reason? If head warp this might not fix. also best if the front cover is off to get another tensioner or slack side guide. But assume its new since you got a whole timming set. head gasket swap,2 to 4 hour job depending on type of manifolds you have(jopefully not the drreaded mated stovepipe type) Quote Link to comment
