Looks like your not treating the dog as a friend, your making him walk- unless of course it's your spotter-ha

Went to Walker Valley this weekend, was a short day of wheeling due to Nuff breaking his steering arm. I didn't get too many pics either as Mads was texting her dad with my phone.

Broken shit. I drove back down and welded it back up with some reinforcement and it got him all the way back home. Didn't get any pics after the fix, but Nuff should have a bunch.

It was actually this truck that broke.

It's got the 35" Krawlers that used to be on my Jeep that I initially ran on the green truck before the MTR's.

The stock J-arm has never been touched until this happened. It was breaking for a while, you can see how far due to the corrosion and there were cracks formed all over near the break. It was just a matter of time.

I brought it home and fixed it up.

It got him home and will go into his truck box as a spare after he gets a new one. The new one will get the ball flipped to reduce the operating angle when the tire is at full droop.

This is the same truck, many moons ago.

Probably sometime late 2005

So the trans died in Nuffs truck... on the way to Gallagher lake, just before taking the pass on I90. Pretty sure it's the original trans.

I made the entire trip though. Hope you guys like pics. :D

and then time to head home. My buddy Dale and I said later to those that were camping or cooking before heading out and made our way down.

On the way we ran across a couple crazy guys headed up on bikes and helped them pass a tough spot. No way would I take a bike up there.

Back onto Roslyn for another tank. Used 3/4 tank up to the top and back to this station.

IMG_4110_zpsdum2g2rl.jpg

...and then I stopped a my favorite bbq place. There used to be one by my house, but the owner reneged on their lease. Now the only time I can get some is passing Exit 22 on I90. :(

IMG_4111_zps9klxkdnk.jpg

Left my house this morning at 8am and got home at 9pm.

Truck made it over the pass no problem. I did slow to 57 in 4th right at the tippy top, but cruised a lot of the drive at 70 in 5th.

It did run a bit warm on the climb up to the lake. I think I know what I am going to do with the louvered hood I got from Dave.

One thing I did before the trip, I figured it would be a warm day.

IMG_3845_zpsy8ezhom4.jpg

...and what a fucking huge difference it made. I could just crack the drivers window and get a flowing breeze throughout the cab.
