the510keeper
Alex dropped his car off a month or so ago to be painted and we just got started on it. Mostly Victory's doin, she's keeping us busy. The guys and Victory stripping parts off the car Check out the sexy little stripper Hood is pretty clean Lots of bondo on some other panels, alot of the doors we will not even b using because of the excessive bondo. Lucky we have a bunch of 4 door doors, we can use. The new doors we pulled from the shed are near perfect The man him self 2 Quote Link to comment

the510keeper
Back to other projects. Vics been stripping and sanding, I've been mudding and priming. Here is where we r at. This car had been painted at some point in its life most every panel had a nice coat of mud. Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Vics been cleaning up some fucked up fenders, why do 510 fenders get so fucked? No worries we can make these look very beautiful Alex :D Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
Well the quest continues, Vic's been puttin the time in while I have been at work. Grinding and sanding Pulled the front glass and melted all the old lead out, one of my least favorite jobs We are not sand blasting anything on the body so we wire wheel all the rust around the window area. And this one was bad. Quote Link to comment

the510keeper
Little more today, got the drip rail seam sealed and roughed out the 1/4er and roof, including pillars, you would think this wouldn't take long. Yep been wearing a respirator when spreading mud, keeps me from wanting to break shit. Quote Link to comment
Duke
James, why do you melt the lead out of the seams and replace it with filler? I have seen you do this on other cars and it has always puzzled me. I would think that the lead would almost be better than body filler. Quote Link to comment
