Fairlady
I can't remember if I've already introduced myself awhile ago or not, so i'll do it again.. Names really Heather. I'm twenty years old, living in southern arizona. And I finally got my hands on a z car. lol :] Now time to clean it out, see how bad it really is and make a list of parts... joy. Bleach
Nice! I was expecting a right-hand-drive Z but its still a good little car. Looks like a 1975 280Z. Is that the "1973 240Z" you have listed on your profile? Quote Link to comment

Rustina 510
That is the great thing about Arizona, 30/40 year old cars with barely a scrap of rust on them!!!! Nice z miss fairlady. Quote Link to comment

blue72
Welcome fellow Z owner. Did the magic beans on the passenger floor come with the car or did you have to sell the family cow for them? Quote Link to comment

Bleach
It does look like a 240Z that has 260Z tail lights and a fuel injected engine from a 280Z. Interesting Quote Link to comment
hacked521
yeah thats my truck in the background, I'm in the process of taking the cab and all the body pieces off to mock up on the new frame. but enough about the junk in the background and more on the z. The z is my girlfriends car, im gonna help her fix it and teach her a couple things at the same time. The mesquite beans are from a pack-rat...unfortanetly. It does need some work but thats okay it runs atleast. Quote Link to comment

Edz280zx
also has 260z rear bumper indentions.....so???? Maybe a 260? Quote Link to comment
Fairlady
The title claims to be a 73, so I'm pretty sure it's a 240z. The engine was obviously swapped out of a 280z. As for my progress.. I cleared out most of those damn beans and took off the body kit. Found out that the counter panel has been replaced and must have been rear ended after that. Unfortunately, the pack rat chew through some of the wiring harness.. Looks like I'm going to have to order a new one... with many other things as well. Baby steps, Heather.. Baby steps. The door panels were wrong the po had to poke holes for the door locks to go through them at the top. And the tail lights are also wrong cause they had to notch out the body around the lights so they would fit. Ill post a pic of the dash later. Quote Link to comment
