Josh K.
Decided to start on the coil-over adapters. I'm just roughing them out for now until I get the coil-overs. I'll core out the center to lighten before welding. Quote Link to comment

Josh K.
You gotta start somewhere. As you can tell I get sidetracked real easy....... Looks like finishing the brake line from the front to back will have to wait till I pull the motor. No room... I traded 510 OC a set of CV adapters for his JDM tail light garnish.. No idea what tail lights I'll run. Would like a set of JDM lights with the chrome bars running horizontal but don't wanna pay $500-$600 for a NOS set! 1 Quote Link to comment
hobbes_the_cat
Love the tail garnish. I think some Mexican tail lights would go well with it. Crazy to see how much this car has changed. 1 Quote Link to comment

Looks badass my friend. I was going to try to find a set of NOS Euro tail lights. They're in your price range too. Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Thanks Jordan. I've got my eye on a set of Euro lights, we'll see..... Finished roughing out the other Coil Over Adapter. Moved onto the Master Cylinder. The 82-83 has a horizontal bolt pattern. I decided to modify the plate to accommodate the pattern. I'll bolt through the firewall and into the pedal assembly. I welded up all the other holes. Just gotta go home and mount it up! I plan to tear it apart and rebuild it if needed. Quote Link to comment
Tristin
I might have a set of GLs for sale if youre interested Josh. As always, I love your updates. You usually provide good content for the posts. Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Thanks Tristin. My heart is set on euros..... Gonna make a brace later that bolts to the face of the master and then forward to the strut tower.... 1 Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Euros are what you're after, I know someone local possibly looking to sell theirs. Not NOS, but with NOS frames I believe. Quote Link to comment

Josh K.
Got my axles back from Dutchman today. I stayed late tonight and put them together. I'll test fit them this weekend. I measured six times so hopefully they fit..... 1 Quote Link to comment
510 OC
Wow, those look great Josh!! :hyper: Can't wait to see them installed!!! Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Should be test fit tonight.... Made the Bump Steer Spacers. 1.25" Tall. I reamed the bolt holes 0.002" over the bolt shoulder Diameter and will make a 0.013" sleeve for where the bolts go through the steering arm. This way it will have no slop and locate the same when I take it apart next time without requiring the toe be reset. I've seen how Techno Toy accomplished this but didn't like the solution they came up with. This is more robust. Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
I made an extra set if someone is interested..... Quote Link to comment

Josh K.
Will, I'll send you a pm soon. Fit the cv's. With the axles horizontal they can compress another 3/4". Looks like I measured correct.... Here's a flood of pics.... Moar lower! Good thing I tunneled the body! 2 Quote Link to comment
