datsunfreak
Here's my problem (and yes, it's MY problem), I love the round-eye front, but not the back. The square-eye has a much better looking ass. B) So I need a late coupe, with an early front fitted to it... Quote Link to comment
sunny310
nooooo I don't agree with that bro ...I love both b310s but the early model hits the spot for me...its more classic...the front and rear on the early car appeal to me more than the later cars. I own both models and even my dad and uncle like the early car better. That said I think the USA later models look better than the early cars with the park bench bumpers. If I bought a round light car here I would change to jdm bumpers asap...to me they look hideous with the big bumpers. 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
to me every Datsun looks hideous with the big bumpers. Fixed. Quote Link to comment
sunny310
Fixed. lol thanks for that...they all look bloody hideous with those ridiculous bumpers. I thinks the b210s and the 310 cherry look the ugliest Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I thinks the b210s and the 310 cherry look the ugliest For me, the 280Z got it worst... :sneaky: 240Z = so sexy, 280Z = WTF? But the flip side of that is the 280Z is the one that looks good with no bumpers... Quote Link to comment
sunny310
Yup my cousin bought a 280z 2+2 a few years ago and the front bumper was off but it came with the car. I told him not to put it on cuz it makes the car look ugly and to take the rear one off too. Those bumpers look even worse on the 2+2 cars. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Any 2+2 is hideous. The Z just got completely fucked with every year of release. 1 Quote Link to comment
sunny310
yup good thing they didn't try to make the 350z and 370z into 2+2s....that would've been a disaster Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Any 2+2 is hideous. While 99.999% of them are, there are a few that look decent... But to get back on topic... Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Still doesn't look quite right. No where near as cool as that Sunny coupe. Quote Link to comment
Raggleflaggle
Like, if you zoom in on the rear quarter panel window of the, z it looks like a certain other ratsun coupe... Also, they have a surprising amount of headroom for a 2+2. Now look at the sunny, its so blocky right there. That quarter window is why I like the round eye 79 as a 2 door sedan, not a hatch. but also, DAT GRILLE Quote Link to comment
sunny310
Thats a great looking 2+2...only if they all looked like that....those roundeye sunnys just hit the spot for me man. I dont care which body style...i love em all. I have some pics i want to post on this thread but i dont know how to post pics on here Quote Link to comment

floyd17
Hmm. I want a round eye front. But at the same time, the square has really grown on me..... Looks like I'll just have to buy another... Hmmmmm Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
But at the same time, the square has really grown on me... I'm all about the square eye cars myself. Just all around smoother look. I keep waffling on the grill/headlights, but the overall look of the late cars is my jam... B) 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
While were on the square vs. round topic... Is the rear of the square coupe the same as the round eyes? I ask, because the tail light surround, the black part, is broken in so many places. I would love to remove it completely; Not entirely sure how it would look. Removing it only risks braking it more. Don't want to do that. Quote Link to comment
Kirden
I believe this is the square rear: Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Is that Ryan Renoylds with the photobomb? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
While were on the square vs. round topic... Is the rear of the square coupe the same as the round eyes? As he showed, square has bigger taillights and no chrome surrounds (or plastic covering). I ask, because the tail light surround, the black part, is broken in so many places. I would love to remove it completely; Not entirely sure how it would look. Personally, I love the look of the plastic missing. Looks more "racecar"... Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
Do you have a pic of one without? EDIT for the video posted: It's hard to tell when they're far away and moving. It doesn't look bad though. Would like to see one closer. 1 Quote Link to comment
