No bed?

I and 76bullit notched my 620 and have been driving without a bed. People tell me different stuff about the legalities and I am wondering if I will get in trouble?. Ive been told as long as i got mud flaps and tailights and a license plate i should be fine, true?. After driving it without a bed i am starting to like it. You like it?

Dont think so.. think you need fenders & mud flaps at least to stop rocks from spitting

You are soposed to have a rear bumper as well as mud flaps every state is differant and just because its legal dosent mean you won't get pulled over for it.

same here :D Trucks are meant to get used as one. Ive hauled many of engines, transmissions, kids, my wife, my quad, you name it. it was some landscapers truck before i got it.. well used!

I would say that you need to be in contact with your state and local area code people! I email all my questions to them and they answer them well if you ask good enough questions!

I would check your state DMV laws, All states are different. Calif. has a weight law for vehicle's without fenders.

Install a dummy 5th wheel and a pair of mudflaps and you'll be OK. But you either have to have full body fenders or mudflaps.

Trucks with no beds just look like someone gave up on (or ran out of money) to finish their project. Trucks always look better with beds, unless you have a stake bed and use it for hauling lumber.
