went to replace the first needle-and-seat, this fucking shit happened:

no big deal, drilled it out super careful and picked the rest of the shit out like a bawse.

(there was a random mess of harness that literally went to nowhere, deleted that, then re-routed the headlight harness on the other side of the radiator support to make it less visible) also removed the AFM mounting bracket

mainly just a loom/re-loom on this side:

acquired stock fuel rail, promptly went had a quick street-sesh in the rain with a bud

wrapped it in gold heat-tape, all measures to reduce vapor-lock issues that plague SUs in general, which I'm having.

these things ride like fucking BUTTER, even with 14k springs. They're valved for 10k (since I run between 10 and 14k springs) at full stiff. I fucking love them.

anyone who says a coilover is a coilover has never driven on decent coilovers, and now I can feel right in saying this. huge fan of STANCE and Touge Factory now.

Oh ok! Well stupid of me had some HKS Hypermax S13 coilovers for the rear that I got from a parts cars and sold them I later realized I could have used them for my ZX new ones are way too much. I don't want used those tokicos unless I get them super cheap or free.

Bent a control arm and a wheel this past week in the rain (shenanigans! still had fun, though)

 

put my stock-camber control arms back in, way happier with these.
