gokiburix
Introducing...the "Hakoste" the blend of Hakosuka and Stagea. Now don't get me wrong, I usually like to see interesting blends of cars like the semi-usual S13 with S30 facelift. I commend their hard work and (sometimes)craftsmanship. This is an interesting mixture however, my mind can't help thinking "What a waste of Hakosuka parts <_< " I have mixed feelings on this one. One thing for sure though... the fact that Japanese old skool cars are gaining even more popularity! What do you guys think? I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking: ーゴキ Quote Link to comment

fisch
Not really feeling it. But damn that is alot of work! Quote Link to comment
sick620
I like it alot! I would rather have the skyline that had to be cut up to make it but I could settle :D Quote Link to comment
HRH
The front is good minus the overly large chin spoiler. The rear doesn't do it for me. The lights need to be flush with the body/hatch panel like they're supposed to be. The rear looks like one of those retarded lighted RVs the Japanese are so fond of. +100 for trying though. Jester
^^^^I TOTALLY agree. That first shot would be so cool without that big 'ol air dam. I also don't care for their idea of having steal bumper in the front and the half-assed attempt at adding steal to the back. Quote Link to comment
freaky510
  Quote Link to comment
OpelWagenGT
At first it seems like this would be a waste of a good car but I head from someone that these skylines are all over Japan. Don't know if that is true but that thing is ugly, I agree that the back looks half assed. Quote Link to comment
72240z
mmmmmmm what a interesting and complete fail... Who ever did that car was reaching WAY to far. The only front end I want to see (or belongs) on a stagea is a r34. Quote Link to comment
Skib
 :hmm:  :crying: Quote Link to comment
paradoxx
dont like it at all............my dream car torn into a monster. I understand the work invested, but for me, is a waste. Quote Link to comment
gokiburix
yah...i dont even know how the tail lights would work because there's a separation line from the body to the hatch and the tail lights don't have that separation... They already put THAT much work into it, they might as well have completely done away with the stock tail lights and rework it with new metal instead of painting over the stock ones. mmmmmmm what a interesting and complete fail... Who ever did that car was reaching WAY to far. The only front end I want to see (or belongs) on a stagea is a r34. like this: It works only because the lines seem to work better and the two cars are, time wise, closer so it looks more natural. ーゴキ Quote Link to comment
INDY510
It would look better on a Volvo_______  ________________ ____ __ __ _____ I think a real 70's wagon would be cheaper, .. . yet more valuable Quote Link to comment
paradoxx
that R34 combination is a lot different, although like INDY says, it looks like a V70 rear. I like that second one in silver or black. Quote Link to comment
gokiburix
You guys think this stagea looks like a volvo? Have you seen the newer version of the stagea that has LONG verticle lights like a volvo? Check out this newer version of a stagea: and another hideous facelift...this time with a GT-R35:  it just doesn't look right in my opinion ーゴキ Quote Link to comment
paradoxx
wow, that one looks like a Volvo V70 Kompressor haha the R35 type, is just too exciting until you get to the rear....... Quote Link to comment
72240z
The older stages doesnt just match up with the r34 front end because of the time period, not in my opinion anyway. I think it was their intention fromt eh factory it all bolt on and work looks wise lol. It comes with optional rb's and awd too, too many coincidences lol, someone wanted a gtr wagon. The new one is gross lol but I'm bias because I don't like the new gtrs looks either. Comparing the older stagea goon with a datsun goon is apples and oranges. It's not whats cheaper or more valuable or anything like that. They are on opposite sides of the spectrum, the only thing they have in common is that they are both wagons. Quote Link to comment
gokiburix
the R35 type, is just too exciting until you get to the rear....... hahahaa couldn't agree with you more! ーゴキ Quote Link to comment
elmerfudpucker
I like the fender mirrors and tint, but that is about it. Quote Link to comment
gokiburix
more of the madness... some closer shots to reveal more: body creases to match the Hakosuka doesn't look right on this ーゴキ Quote Link to comment
72240z
Damn those are some shockingly sloppy body lines/gaps. That abortion of a front wheel arch and flare is horrid too. I say that because it's presented as a show car. Quote Link to comment
FoxyRoadster
front looks good, rear not as good.. looks way better then the miata to fairlady conversion. I wont even post pics of that monstrosity Quote Link to comment
